The EU Business Hub is pleased to announce its participation in Smart Energy Week Spring 2026, one of Japan’s leading events in the energy and environmental sectors. Held at Tokyo Big Sight, the event will feature the EU Green Transition Pavilion, organized in cooperation with the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation (EJC). Approximately 60 to 66 European SMEs and start-ups will exhibit at the pavilion, presenting innovative solutions in renewable energy, hydrogen technologies, decarbonisation, energy efficiency, environmental monitoring, and the circular economy. The pavilion will be located at booth E33–36 within Decarbonisation Management Expo, and participating companies have been selected based on excellence in products, technologies, resources, and strategic approach.

Following the Japanese government’s Cabinet approval of the Seventh Strategic Energy Plan in February 2025, which sets a target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 73% by fiscal year 2040, this business mission will provide Japanese companies with access to Europe’s transformative technologies and expertise, while promoting the development of long-term, strategic partnerships for a sustainable future.
