First Business Mission to Japan Achieves Matching Between 40 European and Japanese Companies

The EU Business Hub, a European Union (EU) business cooperation programme supporting European companies active in the fields of digital solutions and green and low-carbon technologies, held a matching event at the EU Pavilion during SEMICON Japan 2024, one of Japan’s largest exhibitions in the semiconductor sector, which took place from Wednesday, 11 December to Friday, 13 December 2024, as the first business mission to Japan. A total of 40 European companies participated in the event.

1) ATLANT 3D (Denmark)

A Danish company engaged in the development, manufacturing, and sale of 3D printers for producing microdevices and nanodevices

Next Business Mission

The next business mission is scheduled to take place at SMART ENERGY WEEK, to be held from Wednesday, 19 February to Friday, 21 February 2025, where approximately 50 leading European companies in the environmental and energy sectors are expected to exhibit.

About the EU Business Hub

The EU Business Hub is a business matching programme led by the Delegation of the European Union to Japan, aimed primarily at increasing the presence of European companies in Japan in the fields of digital solutions and green and low-carbon technologies, while promoting their entry into the Japanese market and collaboration with Japanese companies. Over the four-year period from 2024 to 2027, a total of 10 business missions will be conducted. During each mission, European companies will exhibit at major trade shows in Japan and engage in business matching with Japanese companies.
